Andrew Marr allowed Gordon Brown to drone on about security for about 25 minutes and only asked one probing question on Iraq. Not surprisingly Brown doesn't think terrorist attacks in Britain are related to Iraq. I wonder why Sweden and Switzerland are not targeted by terrorists then? Andrew Marr's interview was very poor. Although Gordon Brown ruled out an early election we can't take that as definate, after all this man has lied too often in the past, so anything may yet happen. The sooner the country can bounce brown out of office the better. Bring it on!

Brown really needs to speak up in interviews, I had to turn up the volume to hear what he was saying.
Hopefully Alistair Darling will be more courteous in his dealings with George Osborne (who also appeared on Sunday AM this morning with Peter Sissons and performed well) than Gordon Brown was as chancellor.

VoteDave, I thought George Osborne gave a good account of himself too. Gordon Brown is so dour, I can't see how he can possibly compare with David Cameron as a leader. David is more articulate, a better listener, and is far more dynamic. Brown looks like yesterdays man.

I think articulation is something that can be improved upon, definitely, in Browns case. However I'm more worried about results and improvements within our society than how he appears in the media. Isn't that what we didn't like about Blair? All this 'being in with the media' instead of providing the changes we wanted to see?

Amberlina, Most of us on this website have had Brown on the stage of British politics for too long and we know him.

What this is about is showing how, despite all the nice talk over thae last 7 weeks or so Brown has not changed a whit.

Sod Brown He gets no chances form me especially since I am fairly sure he is rigging the security situation to get himself Stanilesque powers.
