What is your policy on moderation?
We want everyone to be able to have their voice heard on Webcameron.
However, there will always be users who decide to post inappropriate
material and, for this reason, we moderate the site, removing
inappropriate content. If you believe a post or comment to be
inappropriate please contact us with the relevant details.
What is your definition of inappropriate material?
- Abusive, threatening, obscene, or offensive material
- Posts which are libelous or defamatory
- Multiple postings (includes reposting your own content or reposting someone else’s)
- Advertisements of commercial products
- Copyrighted material
- Reposting entire articles/blog posts from other sources
- Impersonation of someone else, including other users
Anything of this nature posted on the site will be removed by
moderators, and repeat offenders will have their accounts cancelled.
What is your policy on copyright infringement?
The Conservative Party respects the rights of copyright holders and
publishers: if a member uploads copyrighted material they must state
that they are either the owners of the copyright or have upload
permission from the copyright owner. Please report any copyright
infringements via the feedback form: if a user is found to be
infringing on another party's copyright we may terminate that user's
account and we will remove the content in question. Content posted on
the Webcameron is the responsibility of the user: the Conservative
Party takes no responsibility for checking that users are respecting
copyright. We will, however, cooperate with copyright owners in cases
of infringement.
If you believe that someone has uploaded your copyrighted content
without your permission please contact us to submit a copyright
notification.
