Andrew Marr interviewed Brown this morning. Brown's relentless droning could be heard in all corners of the house. I walked down the village to buy a Sunday paper. When I got back Brown was still droning wall-to-wall. I tried desperately hard to find something riveting in what he was droning on about... and failed utterly. Only another strong coffee stopped me passing out from boredom.

If the terrorists don't blow us up Brown will bore us to death.

Cameron's biggest advantage is the Brown Boredom factor. He needs to exploit this to the full.

I couldn't agree more.. Did you here him talk about how the Government was going to be disciplined and united and present a united front irrespective of what they may have said during the deputy leasership election.

Yes Gordon, we heard you, They are going to do your bidding as you will be ruling them with a rod of Iron

Or else you will lecture them until they die of boredom.

Absolutely, Brown is the quintessence of monotone. David would annihilate Brown in a TV debate.

Right jonjii, Brown's policy is to wipe out the English with a double-whammy - provoking endless terrorist bombs and swamping all media channels with mind-numbing, droning tosh. We're in for a hard time methinks.

I watched that interview with Andrew Marr, and liked the way he nonchalantly walked down Downing Street at the end of his programme.
It's not the biggest priority for Brown I know, but I had to turn up the volume and concentrate 100% on what he was saying to understand him - I can hear him when he makes speeches but in interviews he's harder to pick up than a North Korean radio station.

You might hate Blair but you can't deny he is definitely better at talking in front of a camera. (Some might argue too much so but that's neither here nor there.) C'mon, Brown, give us some personality.

This boredom and lack of charisma factor is one of the very reasons I think Brown could well go to the country this October if the opinion polls look good and the honeymoon goes well.

After all, what was it the David Milliband said (or rather didn't mean to say) about Brown on Question Time a few months ago?

Something along the lines of "In a year I think the Labour Party will really regret getting rid of Tony" if my memory serves me right!

Get your soapbox ready just in case Dave.

"...the Labour Party will really regret getting rid of Tony."
Cripes, if Blair was asked to be the Saviour of the Labour Party - that's after he'd saved the Middle East and achieved sainthood - and stood for election again would anybody vote him in?

Some think he can walk on water but he cannot control the wind,
"The wind blows ,where it will ,when it will and as strong as it will"(From a report by E-ON)
