I actually signed up here because I don't really have an allegiance with either of the parties. While I firmly supported Blair (one of the few to do so) I'm sceptical of Gordon Brown as the new Labour leader and the affect his "popularity" (or lack of) will bring us in the next elections. So I'm looking for alternatives.

I'm 15, come from Eastern England, am a political fanatic and dream of being a political journalist. (Yes, somewhat weird for a girl of my age, I know.)

I look forward to meeting you all. :)

Swimming in muddy waters, Amberlina, is always more rewarding. Your point of view should be of interest to the dinosaurs here and in the party... if they ever bother to listen to anyone but themselves.

I'm definitely voting LibDem next time as my MP is a star. That's if I'm still in this country and allowed to vote without an ID card.

You've probably noticed that most of us despise Blair for one reason or another. He's done a few decent things in his time but those are seriously overshadowed by the totalitarianism and the Iraq thing.

Also, he was questioned by the police for the 3rd time this week so he may be subpoena'd for perverting the course of justice (if he manages to avoid jail).

Cash for honours? I saw that today. Completely interrupted my viewing of the 'cabinet reshuffle'. As yet his status as a witness hasn't changed but I can only wonder how long that will last.

My area is Barbara Follett, a Labour MP. I can't see that changing any time soon either, I must admit.

I'd never have noticed! I must admit it's hard to find anyone who isn't anti-Blair at the present time. I wonder if his statement on 'history will judge me' is true.
