ID Cards - Channel 4's "The Insider"

To my utter astonishment, I have just watched a half-hour party political broadcast on Channel 4 TV on behalf of Charles Clarke.
<><>In it he put forward a biased, one-sided, emotive and arrogant argument for why he thinks ID cards and a National Identity (and DNA) Register are a good idea and the programme did not (as is required by the OFCOM code of practice) in any way attempt to give a fair and impartial view of the subject and I cannot believe that a responsible broadcaster like Channel 4 would have even given it airtime.
Mr Clarke picked and chose his "evidence" and glibly dismissed valid objections to his plans to force eeryone to register for an ID card and go on the National Identity Register.
I hope that Channel 4 will immediately commission another programme from people such as No2ID who are willing to point out the numerous fallacies, distortions and untruths that Mr Clarke's polemic brought forth to show the British Public that Mr Clarke's plans are dangerously flawed and are a greater risk to our safety and security than any so-called benefit he claims.
I would also like to suggest that David Cameron bring up this matter in the Commons and ask how it is that a former Home Secretary can (ab)use our media in this way.
