Is 9-11 Truth being censored on this website

Posted by BrianH on Monday, 19 February 2007 14:15:06

I note there was an article posted this morning which was voted number one on WebCameron with 14 votes. Then it vanished. The article posted was from Alex Jones's website prisonplanet.com and was entitled: BBC vs 9/11 Truth: The Smear Continues
Link: http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/february2007/180207smearcontinues.htm
Why would the moderators here censor a free vote and free speech in this way?
Also why are many comments posted in the blog removed by the moderators? I posted a link to www.worldreports.org and this comment was removed. The research posted there is highly critical of the Bush Administration.

here's a brief radio interview with the guy from popular mechanics, one of the major debunkers used in last nights BBC doc...

Yes ban all 9/11 questions, I'm all for that. Dave aint running for US president, people who are thinking about voting for him want to ask him what he thinks about important stuff.

No serious politcan is going to run in the UK on a 9/11 conspiracy agenda, get a grip you lot!

I'm starting to wonder if all these 9/11 posts are a black ops by David Davis.

OMG, I've been infected with 'there' lingua franca....

Svengali, the question being raised when any article regarding 9/11 being an inside job is posted on this website is why doesn't David Cameron acknowledge the glaring evidence that proves the official story is an absolute 100% fable.

StevenL, I don't expect David Cameron or any other politician to run a 9/11 Conspiracy agenda in running for Prime Minister, what I and many others are attempting to do on WebCameron is to get him to properly acknowledge the evidence, to properly discuss the issue and not to disregard every 9/11-related question as "conspiracy theory stuff". The biggest conspiracy theory of them all is the 9/11 Commission Report. We want him, as a pioneer of using technology in UK politics to answer the tough questions which the people of this country can't do in any other direct way to any other politician.

Didnt this win last week though and is waiting to be answered ?

"Koz if you got someone on the inside (cough..)"

lol carlos it was actually a joke... Tizzy emailed the webcameron team and I've told you what they told her... That's why I said 'through a proxy'... You couldn't actually see the grin on our faces while we were putting that up, but I promise you it was there... Rather than screaming and shouting for vengeance if your posts get deleted (and repeatedly 'confirming' that's it's actually gone), you might wish to try actually emailing and asking why it was deleted. Just a thought.

Made me look really important for a minute, though, didn't it... :-)

Yes it most certainly did but if, as I expect, Mr. Cameron once again skims over the question, dodges the issue, dismisses the blatant evidence...then there would have certainly been another prompt for him to give a real answer next week.

That may now not happen...and the scaling down of the amount of questions he is now going to answer from 5 to just 3 certainly seems to be an attempt to edge out 9/11 questions...to edge out the most serious issue being discussed on WebCameron...to edge out free speech...to edge out the truth.

Posted by Tizzy on Monday, 19 February 2007 19:33:23

Tobias, did you get a reason from the site team or not?

Scaling down the questions from 5 to 3just means he gets to answer the top 3 911 questions and possibly two other ones about policy. Cant see how that edges out Free speech ? I cant even see how you can claim that your speech is being stopped in anyway there are numerous conspiracy questions on the board.

Also if you know hows he going to answer..why bother to post ???

"the scaling down of the amount of questions he is now going to answer from 5 to just 3 certainly seems to be an attempt to edge out 9/11 questions"

Tobias, you're a card :-)

The change to Ask David comes after several requests to allow some questions to be randomly selected. In their own words: "In the meantime, Ask David will work slightly differently: David will respond to the top 3 questions from the Ask David feature, and 2 other posts from the Open Blog. This means that your questions could still be answered even if they don't make it into the top 5. "

There'll still be 5 questions answered, just there'll only be three that are voted for. It's a compromise.

If you copy and paste entire articles from external sites they will be deleted. I'm interested that you didn't get an email about it, because stav1 said they'd emailed him and told him to stop copying and pasting. Referencing and summarising is fine, apparently, but whole articles are not.

Also DC answered the question three times - he said he wouldn't back an enquiry. Done.

Exactly..

The definition of insanity is, Doing the same thing over and over again expecting the outcome to change.

ah well.

Tizzy, no I didn't, but it is obviously because it was simply a posting of a rather large article from an external source and is my fault for not fully checking the rules regarding open blog posts on this site. In future I shall link to articles and pose questions in my blogs regarding them.

Svengali, I bother to post because it may educate more people who come here on an important issue that all mainstream media and all politicians actively ignore and bluntly dismiss. My free speech on WebCameron most certainly is being threatened by people who areopenly calling for all 9/11 conspiracy theory posts be banned from WebCameron.

kozmicstu, the reason given for the number of questions being scaled down is certainly debatable in light of the number of people who have been pushing for 9/11-related questions to be completely banned but obviously I don't know.

I apologise to everyone who is having to deal with the very few people who are ruining it for the rest of us. 9/11 needs a reinvestigation. It is that simple. The BBC doc last night did a very poor job of 'debunking' the conspiracy theorists. What they did do a good job on however was charecterising 'conspiracy theorists' I personally do not agree with Jones/Fetzer/Avery Loosechange poop. But i am able to understand that there is a significant amount of covering up going on. Just read at least a couple of the articles from http://www.cooperativeresearch.org here all the sources are minstream, no conspiracy kooks for you. This is professional journalism. All collated into one place. They do not discuss the 'demolitions' etc, they discuss the facts as they are on paper. The most incriminating evidence is all housed here; http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/project.jsp?project=911_project

1) Your post broke the rules in the FAQ as stated in pervious posts.

2) I'm not calling for a complete ban, just a focus on some other issues for once rather than conspiracy theroies Every week.

I respect your right to air your opinon, its just starting to feel everybody elses is being drowned out. The internet unfortunately seems to be the domain for the conpisracy therioists as its a powerful media. However I feel the more casual users of the website may soon dissapear as it seems to becoming a single issue area aroud here. A shame really.
