Svengali, I bother to post because it may educate more people who come here on an important issue that all mainstream media and all politicians actively ignore and bluntly dismiss.

Tobias, you may feel that this is the best way to get your views across, but to be honest the more I read here on the subject the less interested I become in what you and others are trying to tell us. That doesn't mean to say that I am not interested in this or that I don't care, but that I feel that the approach you are taking is a bit like being force fed something you are not sure you want to eat in the first place.
Having read the posts and looked at some of the links I find myself wondering if we can ever discuss 911 without feeling like it's become a circus of information that is goes beyond what the average person is willing to stop and actually listen to any more. I feel the style approach and choice of forum is likely to just alienate the very people you say you would like to educate.

I would have to agree with you djh69... I know that may surprise some of the regulars - as I have been one of the people posting questions and wanting answers.
However - posting massive blogs from elsewhere isn't needed, just put a link, and if someon wants to read it they can.

I think the analogy of being force fed something your not sure of is a good one. however I believe the motive is similar to a parent trying to get their kids to eat cabbage :-)

Personally I am waiting to hear what Mr C has got for his answer to last weeks..

oh, and Koz - was just joshing m8 ;-) , although you do seem to be in the know - where u get the info that Mr C will answer couple random Q's from the open blogs - not a bad idea IMO.

Short and very much to the point, tackling the strongest questions the BBC and others in the media tend to shy away from.

It was great to see the extensive comments by Michael Meacher. We should ask David Cameron to watch this! Hard to imagine how ANYONE could just dismiss this as conspiracy theory. Michael Meachers description of the PNAC document should be a wake up call to politicians throughout the world, since he says it is chiling reading to see how plans for US world domination have been planned as a long term strategy. Using every means available including bio-warfare, control of the internet, and even expressly states the need for a catalysing event such a new Pearl Harbour to garner public support at home for US world domination. Thank you Michael Meacher for speaking out. Why didn't the BBC interview him?

I had other posts removed not concerning 9 11, but firing all of the US governemt and british government and holding relections.

Also, to put governments responsible for Economic terrorism and blackmail, and all the US and UK involvement with putting dictators to power in the last 50 years worldwide.

Well let's see if my comment is censored...

As expected, the BBC mockumentary was not a balanced piece. In fact it was nothing short of farcical. The producer (Guy Smith) chose to dismiss all skeptics of the official story as "conspiracy theorists" and omit much vital hard evidence disproving official theory, such as video evidence of liquid molten steel, the warnings on the day from eyewitnesses to leave the area before building 7 was "pulled", Norad standing down and Cheney's war games etc... What about the fact that Underwriters Laboratories certified the steel for the towers and concluded it was impossible for those towers to collapse as they did from fire alone? They were told not to report this for reasons of "national security" and Kevin Ryan (director of one of their projects) was fired for going public (I could of course go on and on...).

The documentary did however devote much time focusing on wild conspiracy theories like the "4000 Jews not turning up for work" (I've never heard that one anywhere) and even a 10 minute interview with one of the X-files makers. The "All Jews pre-warned" conspiracy theory segment seems to have been employed to create a classic straw man argument, perhaps attempting to brand the Truth Movement as anti-Semitic, before a Jewish widow was then interviewed to moving background music - an obvious call to emotion to sway viewers.

I am not a "Conspiracy Theorist" as the BBC consistently brands the millions of skeptics of "9/11 official theory" around the world, but simply another intrigued individual who has devoted much time over the last two years looking at evidence surrounding the events of 9/11. To my mind, the "official story" is more likely the "conspiracy theory". The plethora of lies, inaccuracies and inconsistencies that US authorities, the US/UK media and our government have told the public since 911 on the matter leads me to believe a cover-up could well be in place over the events on 9/11 and a TRULY INDEPENDENT investigation into 9/11 should be launched as soon as possible.

There was no mention of the Jersey Girls, the 9/11 steering committee or the 9/11 Commission Report whitewash. Only 3 individuals representing the "truth movement" were shown (of course made to look guilty by association alongside the wilder conspiracy theories, while 13 individuals represented either the official story or the "incompetence" whitewash. However, it does mention the collapse of World Trade Centre No.7 - but "mention" is all it does. Notably, In the documentary they showed a PBS "NOVA" (US TV prog) animation of the pancake theory as the reason for the towers' collapse. However, since being propounded, this theory has been debunked many times and since withdrawn as a reason for collapse. This graphic portrays the tower collapsing at a rate of ten floors every six seconds. For this to be accurate, the tower's 110 floors would have taken 66 seconds to completely collapse. In reality, the towers collapsed in just 14-16 seconds at the extreme end of the estimation.

On a positive note, I hope the documentary will leave some people (those with little knowledge of "9/11") with a few unanswered questions, perhaps encouraging them to at least look into the collapse of building 7 for themselves before taking their own investigation on from there. Simply because wild conspiracy theories do exist, that doesn't make the official theory any less of a wild conspiracy theory itself. With so many well researched online resources, books and films to learn from, separating conspiracy myth and disinformation from reality is now easier now than ever in the last 5 years.

84% of all Americans believe there is some kind of cover-up over 9/11 (according to New York Times/CBS News poll October '06). The majority of victims’ families apparently now believe 911 was an “inside job”, and I think the BBC owes all the victims of 911 including the dying fire-fighters and "first responders" (see EPA toxic dust scandal) an apology for producing this smear against the very REAL Truth Movement.
