An inspirational day in Uganda

George Osborne travelled to the Ruhiira village in Uganda, which is one of the twelve sites in Africa set up by the United Nations as part of the Millennium Project. During his visit he saw how properly-directed aid can make a real difference in tackling malaria, poor education, malnutrition and poor water.

I take it that George cares so much for the environment that he cycled to Africa.
