Many of those whom you call 'white english' are derived from Anglo-Saxons and Jutes, Wanderers and Normans. Being immigrants they may well have left of their own accord. Once you start exploring its hard to stop.

If whites don't do low paid work then what are the school leavers doing they used to take on the low paid work?
Where do they actually advertise this 'shortage of whites' in the professions you mention?
As has been pointed out, there are only 10% of the British population that are 'non-white', even the area where I used to live (and was born) Moss-side, Manchester, an area most outsiders assume is an 'all black ghetto', is over 60% 'white'.
You are dead right, Graham and Conand, we are mongrels indeed and good for that, the more variety in the gene-pool, the less the likelyhood of knuckle-dragging Neanderthals reasserting themselves. There is only one human race, interesting and delightful though the infinate variations may be.
Basil, you are not only exagerating, but so what? What exactly is your concern? Are you saying 'white' kids don't have equal opportunities?
Where ever you look there is a shortage of people to do this or that job, as I mentioned, and we are now, like the under-developed countries, relying on foreign expats to come to the UK to do the work.
So all I am saying is what the hell are the local British people doing to earn their living?
Why just low paid jobs? You mentioned doctors, Teachers and dentists too.
I have no doubt unemployment is on the rise again, but to say that it affects 'whites' more than non-'whites' is a stretch Basil, just what evidence are you basing this assertion on?
In a supposedly developed country like the UK with a population of 60 million, why do you think there are so
many foreign expat workers working in the UK. I don't think it is out of the kindness of the hearts of UK employers. It is because they cannot find British workers to do the jobs.
That we have to have to import foreign doctors, foreign nurses, foreign teachers, foreign bus drivers, foreign dentists, foreign taxi drivers, foreign postmen, foreign traffic wardens, foreign shop assistants, foreign bank clerks and bank cashiers, foreign waiters and waitresses....
etc... etc...
So I ask again where are and what are the British workers doing and how are they earning a living?
And don't tell me they are all on incapacity or invalidity benefits and don't tell me they are all lazy!
