Politicians have allow too many undesirables to enter the UK that it is now impossible for the Security Services MI5 and MI6 to track, trace and monitor them all. Most have disappeared into the community. We are now paying the price of allowing British Embassies abroad to give entry permits and visas willy nilly without any background checks, knowing damn well that once in the UK most will disappear.

BB, would you care to define 'undesirables', 'community', and 'disappeared'?

Tiz, I'd include among the 'undesirables' budding British bombers with or without British passports or 'leave to stay', plus the thousands of criminals of all shades that see the UK as rich pickings and its citizens as stupid, easy targets, plus economic migrants who milk the system and send their money back home. Plus those who can't be bothered to learn the language. Plus those who don't understand the laws of cricket.

Immigration into the UK ought to carry certain conditions. Most essential being a good command of the English language. Anyone entering the country must also demonstrate that they have sufficent work skills to support themselves. New Labour's faliure to check immigration has created fertile ground for extremist groups to grow. This also happened during the 1970s. The left/liberals try to suffocate debate on immigration claiming such talk is racist. However this is a nonsense. Immigration is a question of logistics. No nation can take on unchecked immigration, particularly when housing and jobs are so scarce.

The since the 1980's the FCO to cut costs, started to employ foreign locals to staff the British Embassies and British Consular Departments overseas, off course these foreign locally recruited British consular staff are only too happy and willing to dish out British Entry Visas to their people to enter the UK and over the last 20 years many foreigners have been given visas and allowed to enter the UK without any checks.

I think he means "Foreigners", "Groups of Foreigners" and "We don't know where they are and what they are doing every minute of every day".

This obviously means that they are *all* terrorist suspects.

Lets not be fooled by the myth that immigrants benefit our economy.Immigrants only benefit the people who are already rich. That average joe does not benefit in any way, shape or form.

It's time to close the doors to the third world. Both Tories and Labour have allowed thousands of immigrants to flood into Britain, drain our resources and cause social problems.

Nobody ever asked for multi-culturalism.We have had it forced upon us without any mandate or say in the matter at all.The majority of British people never asked for it and never wanted it.

The only party which has the courage to stand up for British people is the British National Party.

VOTE BNP

Immigration controls are stronger now but it is too late to close the door after the horses have bolted.

If London, Bradford and Birmingham are anything to go by we can expect that within the next 20 to 50 years the white indigenous Anglo-Saxon population in Britain to be a minority.

laws are not made to protect the indiginous people but to protect ethnic, gender and religious minorities

the BNP is looking more and more rational every day

Right. We're being ethnically cleansed as we speak. And if that isn't something to clobber NuLabour with, I don't know what is.

I feel like I've walked into a thread that has gone wrong somewhere along the line. Have you read BNP policies? They're racist. What's wrong with multiculturalism? I'm not disagreeing with the fact that we need to improve our immigration laws. We're a small island and we can't take all the strain on our resources.

But I sometimes wonder if the way people stand on immigration reflects a certain amount of racism too.

"What's wrong with multiculturalism?"
Well, that's a very big question Amberlina. You could ask the Dutch, who have concluded that their multiculturism experiment has gone badly wrong and last I heard they were trying to unpick it.

Personally, I quite like it in small doses but I don't want it thrust upon me as this government is doing. And since when were we crying out to have our culture changed?
