council tax

hello from scotland david,

we thought that council tax in all of scotland would be set low............mainly because the elections are due soon..we now found out that our council tax is going up bye 3.9% we are in south scotland.......the main topic in the supermarket is,how many places are closing..we are about to loose our swimming pool,and a golf coarse close to us.........time for labour to go,we have had enough misery/

It's going to get worse. An increase of 80% in council tax over the past ten years notwithstanding, they want to charge you extra for rubbish collection:

As the saying goes, an unelectable opposition makes a corrupt government - time for Mr Cameron and co. to pull their socks up...
