Can we see a shadow cabinet meeting?

Posted by Paine on Monday, 19 February 2007 23:03:35

Dear Mr. Cameron,

Would you be able to record a shadow cabinet meeting, and put it online as a resource for all the users of webcameron?

It would be fascinating to see who the movers and shakers are in the shadow cabinet, and how you conduct meetings. Are they very formal, or quite informal? What sort of things do you discuss? Are there many jokes, or is everyone quite stern?

I think it would prove very insightful, and do wonders for opening up politics!

Thank you for your time,

Steve

A very interesting question.

If these people are to be our next leaders, it would be good to see how they operate.

Thanks!

There are so many different ways of conducting meetings, it would be interesting to see what DC's look like! There are some bubbly personalities in the shadow cabinet too, as well as some less-so. I'm just genuinely curious - I have no idea what to expect..

This would certainly help open up the cabinet (no pun intended...)

I'd watch it, it'd be cool

anything other than 'cannabis' or a '9/11 conspiracy' would be most welcome :) Thank you.

Of course, I would need to use the secret 'freemasons emoticon' to get this to the top of the list... ; )

I think it would be great, but just wait until the media get their hands on it!

Gordon Brown and Tony Blair would start their photocopiers immediately :P Conservative ideas would be ripped to pieces. This is the only thing that would bother me. I'd love to watch one though :D

I'm glad to see that we have people coming up with sensible suggestions alongside the repeated 9/11 and cannabis rubbish.

This would be a great watch.

I'm not sure I agree. The Labour Party, a lot of the public, and the media will be listening in with nothing but hostility in mind.

I guess we won't know until we see one! : )
