First Visit?

Whether this is your first visit or you’ve been with us since the start – welcome to Webcameron! This is David Cameron's website, where he posts written & video content on his activities and gives you a behind-the-scenes look at what he’s been up to.

Getting started

Anyone can browse Webcameron, but if you want to post your own comments or contribute to the forum, you’ll have to become a registered user. To register as a new user, click here.

The videos on this site use Adobe Flash, please visit this website to download the required software if you don’t have it already.

Front page

The most recent video appears at the top of the page, with 3 recent videos below – click on a thumbnail to watch. To the right of the most recent video, you will find the 3 most recent written blog posts by David. Click on a post to read more, or click ‘See all posts’ to see everything from David’s Diary.

In the other areas of the Webcameron homepage, you will find three additional site features: ‘Pick of the papers,’ ‘David in the news’ and ‘Forum tracker.’

‘Pick of the papers’ features our selection of some of the most interesting news stories, from the world of politics and the world in general. ‘David in the news’ brings you the latest articles and interviews from David; including TV and radio appearances. The ‘Forum tracker’ will provide you with links to the latest forum comments; an easy way to keep up-to-date with the latest discussions.

Navigation menu

The menu at the top left of the page is divided into 3 sections. The top section links to content that’s specific to David. Check out David’s diary to read his regular entries and find out what it’s really like being the Leader of the Opposition. Click on the Video link to see David in action. New videos will be uploaded on a regular basis and much of the footage is exclusive to Webcameron.

The ‘Issues’ sections of the menu cover the issues that David really cares about. We've scoured the internet to bring you some of the latest, most interesting news on health, going green, work & money and home & family. Let us know what you think of these stories in the forum.

The ‘In Depth’ links to pages that bring together video, photos and written blogs from David’s visits into one easy-to-read section.

Click on the link to the Forum to get involved yourself. Registered users can comment on any of the forum sections and ask questions to David himself. David will pick questions, comments, themes and topics from the forums (as well as comments on blog posts) on a regular basis and include his responses in his diary.

Other features

The menu at the top of the page will allow you to read about site updates, sign up for our weekly newsletter and to check out our RSS feeds. If you want to embed a Webcameron button or David’s Diary widget in your website, MySpace profile or blog, then visit the Tools & Features page to get the code.
