Special 'Paul McCartney' justice from the courts

Posted by davidbaseone on Sunday, 11 March 2007 22:33:50

Looks like Paul McCartney has shared custody of his child?

Well, good news for him I guess?

So what’s all this nonsense about the government pursuading divorcing fathers not to go to court but to try mediation instead: seems to me the lesson is clear:

If you want the right moral decision - go to court to get a shared residence order.

Unless of course that kind of thing doesn’t happen to your average chap - and that the courts save a special kind of justice for the rich and famous?

Is that just possible? Maybe if I do a cover version of Mull of Kintyre they'll treat me the same?

My governments policy is clear.

Anyhow, I'm far too important to be meddling around with any 'bits & bobs' in the UK.

So what if all it would take is for me to get of my 'soon to be imortalised in brass' backside and change the way family courts operate?

...well, actually, honest truth, I would do it... it's just that my wife is a hotshot lawyer and she won't let me: says she'll leave me and take the kids: And I wouldn't stand a chance in the family courts these days.

Unless you are actually the Right Hon Tony Blair, your post falls foul of the site rules, you know.

kozmicstu - thanks for pointing it out but I have found a loophole - the current perception of Tony, especially on this site is not of a 'someone' but a 'something' - and there's no rule to cover that?
