Blair demands access to your bank accounts in exchange for a bio-passport

In the latest blatantly Orwellian move by this Govt, the BBC reported from an interview with James Hall, the new head of IPS:
Questions in the 10-20 minute interviews will centre on information like previous addresses and bank details. (link)
Naturally, to question you on your bank details, they will be needing your bank details, presumably through a form you submit prior to interrogation.
Also on this form, you can expect to provide your National Insurance Number, which the Govt will use to cross-index your tax & benefits records as well as your bank details.
Also your Driving License Number, which the Govt will use to cross-index the records of every car journey you've made for the last year, secretly tracked now via
ANPR, and in the future via road pricing satellites.
Biometrics are to be added at some point in the next 5 months.
Obviously the new RFID chips in the bio-passports are to keep track of your journeys in and out of the country.
Your medical records are being uploaded to Britain's most expensive computer for uhm, some reason.
ISPs have been required to keep 6 months records of your emails and surfing habits for uhm, some reason.
Phone companies have been required to keep 6 months records of your calls for uhm, some reason.
Is there any of our private data that won't be linked to the ID database aka National Identity Register? Why is the Govt intruding into our private lives so much more than even countries like China and North Korea?
Welcome to New Britain. I think I'll be leaving now.
