Wow, you really didn't leave much to the imagination there, David.

Your sceptics, I'm sure, will have much to say, but I must applaud your willingness to say what you think and not overcouch your words after that particular video!

Tough topics to handle, I hope nobody is too harsh in their response to this video

Usual vague answer we have come to expect from our UK politicians regarding 9/11. At least some of them are more aware - I know Michael Meacher and Tony Benn are now questionning it, as indeed are many other prominent politicians, academics and military people around the world, see http://patriotsquestion911.com.

Clearly Mr Cameron hasn't even bothered to look at the film 911: Press for Truth, just dismisses everything as "wild conspiracy theories". Just confirms my view that the Tories missed a great opportunity for an effective leader in David Davis.

Never mind Mr Cameron, if you have not got time to watch the film on broadband, I have the DVD which I bought from America, and will post it to you if you want so you can watch it at your leisure. Just e-mail me through my e-mail address I have left when I registered on your site.

sensible, logical, straightforward response - but wouldn't it be more interesting for everyone if you could answer some of the quirkier questions that get buried in this blog by the manipulation of the 'Ask David' voting system?! LoL :)

i was only interested in your views on 911.
i want a leader with good morals, courage and someone who will stand up for us the people and in uncertain times undertake a revolutionary act.
you have failed miserably....... you lose my vote.

Who ya gonna vote for Stav1? Just interested...

How incredibly disappointing that rather than view '9/11: Press for Truth' - a video focused on family members of those who died on 9/11, and their inability to get a real investigation - David instead brushes them off and joins them with 'those crazy conspiracy theorists'.

Just goes to show that no one has any compassion left for those affected by 9/11, and that anyone who actually does deserves to be mislabeled as crazy. Way to dismiss the grieving family members calling for a new investigation, it's quite obvious you didn't even get someone to give you cliff notes of the film.

I'll join the poster above in offering to mail you a DVD, perhaps you can make time to watch it rather than assume it is of no real importance.

Didnt support the smoking ban, believes in freedom of choice, but not prepared to stand up for it, didnt answer the questions I asked, just lost my vote, wont be renewing membership. We desperately need politicians of integrity who are prepared to take on and fight for freedom of choice. Looks like my vote will go to one of the extremist parties like many others.

Sir - you did not answer the question - you were asked to watch the video. Did you watch it? Many scientists think the investigation is totally inadequate. See quotes from 100 professors at http://patriotsquestion911.com/professors.html

You merely dismiss all this as "conspiracy theory". You need to take note that the tide of opinion is not with you based on polls in the US - and that the official version of events is considered to have a very liklihood of occurence by a growing consensus of scientific opinion.

"FunkyBlues", you don't speak for me moron! Mr Cameron I apologise for this individual, he/she is not representative of everyone else who is campaigning for a real investigation into the attacks.

Ouch, David. I think you've just persuaded me to vote Lib Dem at the next election. Not one of your answers was I remotely in agreement with; the only decent thing was that you actually gave clear answers to the questions, I guess.

No, we don't 100% know the truth about what happened with 9/11.

You answer about smoking was, as you suggested, hypocritical and inconsistent.

Your answer about cannabis was tired and cliche, and failed to recognize the fact that cannabis is a harmless drug that is needlessly persecuted by old-fashioned thinkers such as yourself.

Your answer about PR was depressingly small-minded, and portrayed the opinion that you can't implement a working PR. It also seemed to suggest that you think the current system is something other than a broken pile pf cr*p.

In short - you've kept all the worst policies of the old Conservatives. You've changed all of the vaguely decent ones. :-(

I bet you didn't even watch Press For Truth...

That`s really sad. I thought you were man enough David, to answer one question, and that was just to see a movie. Now I know that you will ignore the people just like any other coward. The only truth about 9/11, is that we don`t know the truth. David, this was your chance and you screw it. Sorry David, but I will not give my wote to you.

that was strange. why did you start to ramble on about drug education. its not education, it only serves the purpose of keeping the drugs illegal.
thats exactly what doesnt happen in schools. its not the science and effects that are taught but simply some biased pathetic scaremongering propaganda that leads people to think these substances are the devils creation until they try them, find out theyve been lied to and end up experimenting further in some cases. however cannabis use is extremely widespread and you ignore that fact. true it may be easier to get hold of but do you think street dealers care if they are supplying kids with the drug??

you made no reference to the problems of toxic chemicals being added to the drug and the potential harm caused. how would you combat this with your continuation of the drugs prohibition??
its much more accesible than alcohol from my experience as a child and for you to say this is protective is not the case. alcohol is the first choice for teenagers however and personally i'd rather youths were using cannabis than a drug that they have to know their limits with in terms of overdose potential.

it looks like you will have to legalise for medicinal use considering the compelling evidence for the drug which you stated you would need to see.

and that reference to former addicts as being useful is completely irrelevant... where does that come into a cannabis debate. at least you answered the question simply and straight forward but you lost my vote to the lib dems there.

NEW QUESTION, watch 9/11: Press for Truth and tell us your comments on the film.

What's the worse thing that could happen out of having a new inquiry into 9/11? At the MINIMUM, we'd be safer and find out more reasons for how it happened. I don't believe in the conspiracy theories, but I agree with many members of the U.S. Congress and other prominent individuals, not to mention the 9/11 families, that a new investigation is needed.

If you want to get elected, say you want a new inquiry into 9/11 and the London bombings.

Good luck!
