RITUAL SLAUGHTER

Dear David, A few years ago when Ben Bradshaw MP received a report on the gruesome practice of ritual slaughter of animals in this Country, he decided to take no action because it was a religious and cultural matter in some communities. However, another gruesome religious and cultural rite - female genital mutilation - female circumcision - removal of the clitoris, is banned, and rightly so. What do you think about this lack of a consistent approach on such matters?Regards, Kenny.
